Sports business communications, marketing with stortytelling

France vs. Kazakhstan

About Me

Creating partnerships, content strategy

I am a Vancouver- and Seattle-based sports business professional with an extensive history of managing people, developing partnerships and creating content that connects with sports fans.

During my work as a sports content specialist with ESPN.com, I created the ESPN Music section, co-created Page 2 and was the site's original NHL editor. In sports business I have created and pitched partnership marketing activation plans to the MLS's Los Angeles Football Club and Monumental Sports, contributed to sports brand planning at The Upper Deck Co. and delivered data analysis reporting to organizers of the PGA Farmers Insurance Open.

Ice hockey and soccer are my biggest passions, and I've served as the NHL Insider writer and fantasy hockey contributor for ESPN.com. But I've also worked on a wide range of sports while compiling a history of quality work. I have covered the Canadian men's and women's national soccer teams, edited and wrote for Agence France-Presse's multimedia product during the 2014 World Cup and was a co-founder and editor-in-chief of Canadian sports website JustSports.ca.

I recently earned a Sports MBA degree from San Diego State University while gaining brand development experience at the Upper Deck Company and event and media relations experience with the NWSL's San Diego Wave FC. I have also worked in events, media relations and fan engagement at Super Bowl LVI, the 2022 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open.
